Victoria: A permit is not required for promotions of $5000 or less. vcgr.vic.gov.au
NSW: A permit is required for promotions < $10000 or less.
the MARKET Price terms & conditions:
/ This Agent/Vendor does not endorse the MARKET Price.
/ Entry is conditional upon agreement to the below terms and conditions.
1/ A member can enter 1 price per competition.
2/ The same price can be entered by multiple members. ie Member 1: $450000 Member 2: $450000
3/ However there must be at least $100 difference between unique price entries ie Member 3: $449900 Member 4: $450100
4/ Auction Date:
Winners are only declared if the property is sold at auction.
The competition will close and entrants will receive the results via e-mail (within 7 days).
Winners will receive their prizes within 14 days after the Auction Date.
/ The Date of Sale field will display/represent the Auction Date if the property is sold at auction.
Any entry posted on the "Date of Sale or after" will be deleted from the competition.
/ The competition will close without a winner if the property is a/ not sold at auction b/ sold before the auction c/ passed in at auction
d/ withdrawn from sale or e/ if the final sale price is undisclosed by the Agent/Vendor.
5/ There can only be 3 winners per competition. 1st , 2nd , 3rd
6/ If multiple entries become eligible for the same prize IE 1st, the member who entered first (by date and time) would be declared the winner and the other entry/s would move down a Prize position according to the date and time of entry and Price $ entered.
7/ If you are eligible for a prize:
You agree to not change your membership "My Profile" details in your admin until all of your prize/s have been received.
Failure to follow this term may result in your information being lost or deleted without any record available to substantiate any claim.
8/ You must be 18 years of age or older to enter.
9/ You must reside in the same State as the property for sale.
10/ Registered members will receive information via e-mail from location.com.au.
11/ location.com.au will make all efforts to successfully host a the MARKET Price competition.
In the event of any unforeseen circumstance location.com.au reserves the right to delete any entry/member or close a competition for any reason.
12/ Complaints: Please contact Location.com.au no later than 14 days after the property is sold, or the complaint will not be heard.
PRIVACY
1. Only the entrants First Name, Membership #, Price $ entered, Suburb, Region, Date and Time of entry will display on the "Market Price" page.
2. Only the top 3 winning entries Full Names and Membership #'s will display in the Winners section.
3. Only the top 3 winning entries Full names, Membership #'s, Address details (for cash prizes) and E-mail addresses, will be seen by Location.com.au.
4. If an individual cash prize exceeds $250, Location.com.au must post the winners name in a newspaper.
The PROMOTOR (Location.com.au) >
/ The Promoter is responsible for the amount of each prize and for the payment/delivery of all cash prizes.
/ If the individual value of a prize in the competition exceeds $250 the name of the winner must be published in a newspaper circulating generally in Victoria. However, if the total value of the prizes for the lottery is $500 but an individual prize exceeds $250, the name of the winner only needs to be published in a newspaper circulating generally in the area which the trade promotion lottery was held.
/ When the property is sold, the promotion will close and entrants will receive the results via e-mail (within 7 days).
/ Winners will receive their prizes within 14 days after the property is sold.
/ This agent/vendor does not endorse the MARKET Price.
/ The top 3 winners contact information (for cash prizes) will display in the password protected Admin area.
/ The Promoter (Location.com.au) reserves the right to change the property page details at any time, except for the following information:
URL, Prizes, Street # Name Suburb.
Note: This does not apply if the property is withdrawn from sale, or the promotion is closed and the competition will close.
